A Blanket of Sunshine, Colour, and Connection, Plus a Sneak Peak Alert!
What a weekend! Our latest Arm Knit Blanket Workshop was held at Vale House & Lodges, one of our new venues, in beautiful Findon (near Worthing).
Creativity filled the air! Colourways galore, everyone loving the new limited edition colours, with several people swapping to these, & plenty of giggles along the way. There’s something magical about watching people come together over arm knitting – it’s such an inclusive, joyful craft.
And speaking of joy – we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Joyce, aged 92, to this session. Witty, cheerful, & utterly unstoppable, she finished her blanket before anyone else! It was such a heart warming reminder that this workshop really is for everyone. The youngest arm knitter we’ve ever had - just 6 years old! From 6 to 92, this is creativity without limits.
We’re also proud that our workshops are welcoming spaces for crafters with a variety of accessibility needs – we always work to make sure everyone can get the most out of their experience.
This was the scheduled last arm knit blanket workshop of the season before we launch our Autumn/Winter programme (stay tuned, details are coming soon!). But if you’d love to host a private workshop over the summer, just get in touch – we’d be happy to bring the fun to you. If there is only a small number of you, we run workshops at our studio in Brighton for a minimum of 4 people.
Sneak Peek Alert!
We have some special plans for later this year, & we can’t wait to share these with you!
Some highlights for you:
A Christmas styled arm knitted blanket.
Kid friendly workshops where they can create a smaller blanket, adding fringing to give that unique touch.
Plus, keep an eye out for our new finger knitting workshops with extra dates for the popular new Cleo Bag, as well as our new cosy finger-knitted cushion – perfect to style with the blanket you’ve already made.
Here’s to crafting, connecting, & creating something beautiful – together.
