Parking:

Limited parking may be available in Beckenham Place Park’s car park. They strongly recommend using public transport, cycling or visiting on foot, as the car park fills up quickly on a first-come, first-served basis.

The park and pay operates every day, 8am–5pm. The tariff is CO2 emissions based. The car park operates a cashless system through a website, app or telephone number.

Trains:

Beckenham Hill station is served by regular trains (on the London Bridge line via Peckham Rye, Catford, Shortlands, Bromley South). It is less than a five-minute walk from the station to the park entrance.

Ravensbourne station (on the far side of the woodland) is also on this line if you wish to enter the park from the southern side or eastern side.

Beckenham Junction station is a 10–15-minute walk to the park (entering via Beckenham Place Park gate). This station has trams as well as trains to/from London Bridge, Victoria, Orpington, Lewisham and all the calling points in between.

Buses:

The 54 bus stops outside two of the park gates: ‘Highland Croft’ stop is by the Braeside gate and ‘Beckenham Hill’ stop is outside the Southend Lodge gate. It is a five-minute walk from Braeside gate to the mansion and 5–10 minutes up the drive from the Southend Lodge gate.

Many buses stop on Bromley Road near the Green Man – this is a 10-minute walk to the Southend Lodge gate or a 10-minute walk to the Old Bromley Road entrance (for the BMX track). The routes include: 320, 208, 181, 136.

Route 354 stops at Ravensbourne Station for entry into the south or eastern sides of the park, or Foxgrove Road for entry via Beckenham Place Park gate.

Numerous buses stop at Beckenham Junction, which is a 10–15-minute walk to the park.

Cycling:

There are a number of cycle racks around the Mansion perimeter.

They don’t have dedicated on-site parking. But there’s paid for on-street parking on Kingsway, the Main Street which Rockwater is just set back from.

Farnham Maltings

Farnham Maltings is located in central Farnham, a five-minute walk (0.2 miles) from Farnham station, which offers direct trains to and from London Waterloo, Guildford and Alton.

Their car park provides a central location for parking and is within easy walking distance of the town centre. There are 119 spaces. Please note, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are particularly busy days. The Waggon Yard Car Park is a convenient alternative if the Maltings’ is full.

Charges apply to all vehicles, Monday to Saturday 8am – 6pm. The car park is controlled by NSL Car Parks Ltd. Vehicles parked at owners’ risk. Ticket machines accept coin and card payments. There are four free parking spaces for Blue Badge holders.

RAIL

Falmer Railway Station is a short walk from Stanmer Park.

CYCLE

Stanmer Park is great to explore by bicycle. If you’re a cyclist there are purpose-built bike lanes along Lewes Road connecting the Stanmer Park to the centre of Brighton, allow at least 25 minutes to cycle from the centre. Stanmer Park has ample bicycle racks for storage whilst you explore One Garden Brighton.

CAR

One Garden Brighton is located just off of the A27 between Brighton and Lewes and you can follow signage from the main road. You will enter Stanmer Park and be directed through the estate to the main car park. Parking is operated by Brighton & Hove City Council and fees apply.

By rail

Shoreham-by-Sea train station is a 10 minute walk away, with frequent services to and from Brighton, Worthing, and London Victoria.

Buses 2, 19, 60, and the Coastliner 700 all stop on the High Street, just minutes walk away.

By bike

There are several bike stands outside the Ropetackle entrance in Little High Street. Bikes are left at your own risk.

By car

Ropetackle is located on the A259 Brighton Road, on the eastern side of the Norfolk Bridge over the River Adur. You can also reach us from the A27, exiting at the Shoreham Bypass.

Car Parking

There are 2 places to park nearby: the Adur Recreation Ground car park (free, 24hrs) & the Ropetackle car park (paid, free after 6pm).

There are two disabled parking bays in Little High Street, very close to the entrance.

The Arts Centre is located at the East end of Cranleigh High Street next to St Nicolas Church and opposite The Three Horseshoes pub.

By Bus:

Cranleigh is well served by buses running from Guildford, Horsham and Godalming. Most buses stop directly outside the Arts Centre, and across the road by the library.

Parking facilities:

The nearest public car park is situated outside the Cranleigh Leisure Centre on Village Way, a short walk from the venue. Parking is free after 6.30pm. Additional parking is available in the Stocklund Square carpark. Disabled parking is available at the rear of the Arts Centre.

Due to its small size, their car park is reserved for arts centre staff and volunteers, hirers, tutors and disabled users only.

Cycling:

There is a cycle lane running along the seafront from Central Brighton to Hove Lagoon. The studio is a further 5/10 minutes ride continuing along the seafront road. Bikes can be locked to the railings on the forecourt of their unit.

Train:

The studio is less than 5 minutes walk from Fishergate train station, and 20 minutes walk from Portslade train station.

Bus:

The 1 or 1A bus runs between Brighton and Mile Oak, or 700 Coastliner runs along the coast. The studio is less than 5 minutes walk from the closest bus stops for these routes.

Parking:

They have limited parking on site & it is free to park in the local area.

By taxi

Taxis should be directed to Pump House Lane which is the entry point for vehicular access for Battersea Power Station, security will direct them appropriately once they arrive.

Parking

Vehicular access to Battersea Power Station is via Pump House Lane. Public carparking is clearly signposted approx. 200m along the road on the left hand side.

Underground

Battersea Power Station now has its own Zone 1 Underground station on the Northern Line. The station entrance/exit is situated on Battersea Park Road.

There are also a number of other London Underground stations within easy reach.

The Tuck Shop is at the top of Croft Road, just off Priory Road on the West Hill in Hastings. There is a sign on the wall that says ’Scholars Mews’. Walk in through the black gate, just to the right of the main car gates. Walk straight forward through the mews and you will find us on the left just before the slope up to the car park. There are lots of plants outside, and we will be waiting inside with a warm welcome and a hot cup of tea or coffee.

There is one step down to the venue, but all one level once inside.

Please note there is no parking within the mews, but there is free on street parking in the surrounding roads.

Nearest Station is Hastings, with a 23minute walk.
