Textile Workshops run in Brighton& Hove & other locations including Shoreham-by-Sea, Lewes, Worthing, Hurstpierpoint, Hastings, East Grinstead, Sunbury-on-Thames, Cranleigh, Farnham, Chichester & London. From Macramé plant hangers, Crochet baskets to Jumbo Arm knitting, we offer a variety of skills, & where possible use recycled materials.

At this workshop you have the choice of 2 different styles of our Macramé Dog Leads, either our Chunky Macramé Dog Lead, or our Original Macramé Dog Lead.
This workshop is suitable for beginners.
Our beautiful Chunky Macramé Dog Lead, made from a chunky 9mm recycled cotton braid. It’s strong, with a little stretch for your pooch!
Our contemporary Original Macramé Dog Lead is made from 5mm 3ply rope perfect for smaller doggies.

Our ‘Chita’ bag, named for a friend, has been created by Paula, calling on her design skills from many years as a fashion designer.
Macramé is such a mindful craft & is very therapeutic. So, you will feel a real sense of achievement that in one session you have created your own ‘Designer’ bag!
This workshop is suitable for Intermediate level, however very keen beginners are also invited to join us! Paula will guide you through the different processes required to create your bag. This is a small workshop, so you receive one-to-one tuition.

Macramé is an ancient craft that has seen a revival in recent years. Its therapeutic & calming qualities blend perfectly with the mindful meditation of Yoga or Pilates.
A relaxed workshop, you will be taught a few macramé knots, using a soft recycled cotton cord to create a beautiful yoga mat strap. The strap is suitable for all sizes of mats & may also be used for a picnic blanket or beach mat.

This modern wall hanging uses only a few basic knots to create this gorgeous Macramé ‘bobble’ texture.

In this workshop, we will inspire you to make and take home a stylish crocheted planter using natural recycled cotton. No previous experience needed as it is suitable for beginners.
We will show you the basics skills and you will have clear instructions to help you and take home should you want to make more! The 9mm braid we use, and chunky crochet hook provided means your work grows quickly, which is very satisfying
Once finished the pot looks great with either ‘String of hearts’ or ‘String of Pearls’.

At Pitfield Barn Cut Flower Farm, we begin with an introduction from Emma of Pitfield Barn, & then she will show you around their flower fields. There will be a selection of flowers pre-cut for you, where you will be able to choose your flowers, & weather dependent, you may be able to cut some extra flowers to add to your beautiful seasonal flower selection.

A fun workshop making a Pom Pom wreath. Using a multi pompom maker you will be shown how to make multiple pompoms to attach decoratively to a copper ring. You will also be shown a simple macramé knot to hang the wreath from.
