News from the Wilderness Festival
Makers Emporium
We had an amazing time at the Wilderness Festival in the Cotswolds last weekend! We were thrilled when we were invited & asked to be a featured Maker in the Emporium Tent.
The festival had something for everyone in a family-friendly atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to have our Kits on display, something we are well known for, but it also gave Paula a chance to craft some products specifically for a festival crowd, selling out of our Crochet Bottle bags & Festival Pouches!
As these two products were so successful, we are thinking of offering them as a Kit or Workshop, or both! Please see the 3rd story board below, or click on the button to see an image of each.
If you would like to make your own Crochet Bottle Bag or Crochet Festival Pouch, please click the button below & fill in our form to register your interest - thanks!
Family Workshops
We also ran three (sold out!) ‘Knotty’ Necklace Macramé Workshops in the Workshops Yurt. It was lovely to see participants of all ages, with whole families joining in together! Each person chose their own colours & crafted a unique ‘Knotty’ necklace - no two of the 50 necklaces were alike!
New Friends
One of the best parts of events is meeting so many new people & introducing Cocoon&me to a whole new audience. A special moment was when Indi, a new friend, asked me to show her how to make a blanket that she could to take back home to Tanzania. We sat on the grass together & she created a beautiful Arm Knitted Blanket!
