1 to 1 Workshops

As some of you may have seen on our Socials, Paula has been busy over the last couple of days holding a two day bespoke 1 to 1 workshop with Yoko & her interpreter Hiroka.
Yoko landed in England on Tuesday after her 14-hour flight from Japan, traveling down to Brighton on Wednesday to visit our studio for a tailormade workshop.

We created lots of handbags using a variety of techniques, Arm & Finger Knitting, Finger Crochet, Simple weave & Macramé which mainly used for straps! We also used a variety of yarns, vegan & merino jumbo roving & chunky stuffed tube cord.

The 2nd day they returned to create, & Yoko learnt how to make a dog bed for her two Poodles back in Tokyo. & also, how to make a couple of cushions.

As they didn’t want their faces publicised, it’s hands only for photos!

We have a few more private workshops coming up this year in our Brighton studio & we are planning to hold small group sessions as well in the new year – so if you & some friends are interested in joining Paula, please contact us.

Cocoon&me’s Open Studio

In early November we are hoping to run an Open Studio event, where you can visit us in Brighton, browse our extensive stock & buy directly from us! Our studio is currently in a private residence, so this is the first time we will be opening to our Cocoonity.

If you are interested in attending, please note our studio is at the top of three flights of stairs!

Winter Workshops

Our workshop season is in full swing now. If you would like to attend a workshop please book as soon as possible. We do have minimum numbers at all our workshops, so if you leave it late it's just possible that we have already made the decision to cancel the workshop, as we don't have sufficient numbers to go ahead.
