We hope you are well, & have had the opportunity to enjoy the glorious Spring sunshine? We are sorry for not updating our blog so far this year, but it has been a hard couple of months, dealing with all the uncertainties due to the Covid-19 lockdown & Brexit. However, now that we have the Government’s roadmap out of lockdown, we are hopeful of a slow return to something resembling normality & are looking forward to all the new possibilities this will bring.
Workshops
We know some of you are waiting for our workshops to restart, we are now looking at May being the earliest that this may be possible. For those on our waiting list for rescheduled workshops thank you for your patience, you will be the first to be contacted when we have more definitive dates. We are continuing to offer our online workshops, so please get in touch if you would like to know more about these.

Yarns & Accessories
We have expanded our yarn & accessories in our ‘make your own' range. Hoooked sustainable jute has been added to our collection & we will be introducing a new supplier next month which we are excited about. Our Bobbiny yarns have been in high demand, following a UK wide shortage due to a Brexit import block. We are pleased to report these difficulties seem to have been resolved & trade has now started to open up again. We will also be adding some new craft accessories this month, including some gorgeous natural wooden beads.
Out of Stock Service
As a reminder, if an item is out of stock on our website, we have a waiting list that you can be added to, just add your email address to the listing that is out of stock. We will do our best to order this as soon as possible (this does depend on supplier availability), & you will receive an automated email when stock has been added to our website.
Craft Kits & Video Tutorials
This year we are also looking to add to our craft kit range & we are busy creating two at the moment. We will also be producing craft video tutorials, which we believe will be popular & help introduce more people to our crafting world.
Popups, Events & Shows
Bousham Popup Shop
We have just received news that the Bousham popup shop at 14 Hanningtons Lane Brighton will be reopening on the 12th April. We feature alongside many other local artists & makers, so this is more good news.
Artists Open Houses 2021
Dates also to add to your diaries, Brighton Artists Open Houses will run every weekend from 19th May – 20th June. More information will be provided as we get nearer to May.
Shows
Also, we are hoping to attend a couple of shows this year, Unravel & Thread are both to be held at Farnham Maltings & later in the year Knit & Stitch at Alexandra Palace. Both organisers are looking at dates & we will confirm once they have got back to us.
