Beginner-Friendly | Make a Summer Tote Bag – No Needles Required!

Relaxed, hands-on hand knitting using your fingers class with all materials included - ideal for complete beginners

Create the must-have summer accessory: a lightweight, roomy beach bag you’ll actually be proud to use! In this beginner hand knitting using your fingers workshop, you’ll learn the stitches & techniques needed to build a sturdy tote that’s perfect for beach days, picnics, holidays, & everyday errands.

 We’ll be using jumbo chenille yarn for a soft, cushiony feel & fast progress - so you can see your bag take shape quickly during the session. Your finished tote can even double as a cosy cushion on sunny days!

For extra durability we include an eco-friendly cotton canvas tote bag in natural or black, measuring 52x40cm with 13cm base, perfect for carrying groceries, books, or everyday essentials.

 Join Paula for a calm, supportive knitting class where you’ll make your bag step-by-step. You’ll be guided through the essentials - how to create structure, shape your tote, & finish neatly - so you leave confident to continue at home if needed.

What you’ll make: An oversized, stylish crochet tote bag for sunglasses, sun cream, a towel, & all your summer essentials. Choose a one-colour look or a two-colour design. You will be able to customise your bag at the workshop & add more colours.

Who it’s for: Complete beginners, returning crafters, & anyone wanting a mindful, creative break. No prior knitting experience needed.

Yarn & care information
The chunky chenille yarn is a soft polyester with a cotton-like feel. It’s machine washable, but because of the bag’s construction we recommend gentle hand washing & reshaping while damp to help it keep its structure & finish.
